Senior Researcher in high-performance computing, microservers and system software, with interests in virtual machine resource sharing, parallel programming models and energy-efficient supercomputing. I am currently at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, where I am leading the Microservers and System Software team and am Principal Investigator for the EuroEXA, ExaNoDe and EUROSERVER projects. I am co-chair of Programming Environment in ETP4HPC, the European Commission's partner in the HPC Contractual Public–Private Partnership
I received my PhD in computer architecture from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 2011 related to stream programming model compilation, mapping, and scheduling. Prior to starting my PhD, I was Senior Software Engineer in ARM in Cambridge, and technical lead for audio and video codec development. I have a BA in mathematics (1996) and MA in computer science (1997), both from the University of Cambridge.
I am always looking for interesting collaborations and opportunities, consulting, etc.
